Complaints or appeals regarding a decision by Nordcert

If you wish to make a complaint regarding Nordcert or to appeal a decision by Nordcert, you must do so in writing.

Any possible appeal against a decision made by the CEO of Nordcert will be handled by the chairman of the board of Nordcert. The CEO will provide the chairman with all documentation relating to the matter and go through it orally with the chairman. The chairman will evaluate the matter and render a decision. A letter will be sent to the complainant, signed by the chairman.

If the decision by the chairman is appealed, the CEO will deliver all relevant documentation to an independent committee that will evaluate the matter and render a decision. This is the final instance for an appeal. A letter will be sent to the complainant, signed by the committee.

Nordcert´s independent committee consists of members outside of Nordcert´s organization with good knowledge of the industry. They will act in an impartial and independent manner relative to Nordcert.
